A garter stitch background hosts snowflakes worked in a variation of a Brioche Cascade stitch enhanced with beads. The glass beads are a wonderful complement to the wispy mohair, and they are added to slip stitches with a crochet hook.

Finished Measurements: 41⁄2"/11.5 cm wide and 62"/157.5 cm long

Yarn: Rowan Kidsilk Haze, 70% mohair/30% silk, 229 yds (210 m)/ 0.88 oz (25 g), Color 592 Heavenly

Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm) straight needles or size you need to obtain correct gauge

Gauge: 13 stitches and 36 rows = 4"/10 cm in pattern

Other Supplies: 18 g (approximately 220) size 6° glass beads, US 10 (1.3 mm) steel crochet hook or size to fit through beads, yarn needle
